Summer is gone. Today is Halloween. I can no longer pretend that winter is isn't on it's way. Most of the leaves have left the trees and the possibility of 60 degree weather is behind us. Coming are the days of blowing snow, icy roads and frigid temps.
I'm mourning summer today. I've been in denial long enough.
