Where Does The Time Go?

I can hardly believe that my little Megan is five years old today. It seems like such a short time ago that I held her in my arms for the first time. I remember all the nights of just holding her because it was so peaceful to let her sleep in my arms.

Then she started to learn things. She could smile, roll over and even sit up all by herself.

She learned to wave for the camera and discovered what fun play dates at the park can be.
She even began to learn about patience and resisting temptation.
Over the last five years she has learned so much that a child learns and I feel so lucky to have been the one to watch over her, teach her and nurture her. She's becoming such a nice young lady (when she wants to be anyhow). Of course I may be a little biased.
I just hope that I remember to teach her that it's always important to take time out for a little fun. To see the wonders of the world around her and really find where she fits.
